understanding learning book summary

chapter 1
the brain and the mind are pretty much the same thing. all functions of the brain are either chemical or electrical.
Chapter 2
the brain learns just like a computer does. I learns by the what, the why, and the how.
chapter 3
 The brain has icons that it clicks on them and it happens the same way.
chapter 4
the brain works in steps. Just like you get a list you have to go in order.
chapter 5
 The brain learns in steps as well it learns in the same way.
Chapter 6
The brain has files it keeps stuff in. But some are get lost just as we loose our fills. It takes a trigger to find them sometimes but they are always there.
Chapter 7
no significant learn occurs without a significant relationship. learning happens in 6 steps.
chapter 8
you have have to built trust with the students. but also disapline them.

week36

I have had sectional golf so again i was only only there 2 days. I graded and worked on some homework.

week 35

i was only there one day becaus eof ffa and golf but i just graded papers.

week 34

map testing is still going so i did not do very much.

week 33

I garded and they started their map testing. I just had to be quiet lol.

week 32

I will be missing atlest once a day cause of golf but i will be there some though. i did some grading and make up work with the students.

week 31

Golf has started so i have missed a few days because of tournaments. But the days i was there i just graded and helped with everyday stuff.

week 30

This week i have helped the students with make up work. I have also helped them do flash cards. It was fun playing the game wiht them.

week 29

This week I have been helping with everyday stuff. Like just gradeing and copying papers. It was pretty simple.

week 28

This week I graded, cut out some big giant clovers for mrs. hunt. Guess i will find out next week what they are going to do with them. St.Pats day is coming up.

week 27

I graded papers and also helped the kids whith their spelling words.

week 26

I graded papers all week. Kinda boring.

week 25

Only had 3 days of school this week because of the snow but the kids still celebrated Valintines day and had alot of fun. I graded papers as well.

week 24

Valentines day is next week and they are doing crafts for that and i got to go to the speech room and cut out big letters for the bulliten board.

week 23

I helped mrs.hunt this week on kepping the kids on track, which has gotten a little more difficult because she had a sub for 2 days and the kids did what they wanted to.

week 22

One of the students got in troube this week and I had to sit and watch him do hhis work to make him stay on track. I also graded papers.

week 21

The kids where a bit loud and rowdy this week because it was to cold to go out side. Which is understandable. I pretty much just graded papers this week.

week 20

This week I have helped some of the students that where behind on homework and also graded some papers.

week 19

I helped with spelling. I alos helped with the cards and with the subtraction.

week 18

I helped write some spelling words down on a card for some of the students and also graded some paper. They are making alot of christmas stuff to take home to their parents.

week 17

This week was the usal. I graded and also helped wih some subtraction.

week 16

I helped miss hunt with some papers. I also printed some papers for her. The printer is a little tricky. I helped the kids with their multiple cation also.

wekk 15

I helped with some spelling words. They put shaving cream on the desks and write with their fingers in the shaving cream. I never got to do that when i was in elementary school. I also graded some paper and helped with the class

week 14

This week I took some of the kids that did well in class on an extra recess. They really enjoyed that and also helped with subtracting again.

week 13

this week I have helped grade papers and work with some of the kids on their subtracting. Just on there barrowing.
